    Sucked up some sticks

My wife and I took our skis out and somehow we both managed to suck up sticks at the very same time at the boat ramp. Our lake is over level and there was some small debris on top but I guess there was more under the water. We took them home and cleared them out but We're not sure if that instantly means its time for a new wear ring. I shoved my phone up in mine and got this picture, does this look like a bad wear ring? Or would I have to ride it to really tell?

Here is the best way to find out by measuring the clearance with a feeler gauge. If within limits let r rip. The wear ring looks fine from the picture. Buy a couple of spares and put them in your wife's freezer for when you need them in the future……she won't notice.

Thanks, ill have to try that. I'm hoping its fine, I'm not real confident I can remove all of that stuff to replace to wear ring. They're still pretty damn new too 2014-2015.

Your WRing doesn't look that bad. If there is excessive play...

The iBr is a rather complex assembly but it can be done efficiently.
-if the wear ring needs to be replaced do not follow the manual. Just put the entire pump in your freezer for 25 minutes and slide it out by hand.

If you don't notice a drop in performance, don't worry about it.

If you can read and have a set of metric tools you can do anything.
