    Best bits

So...I've had my spark since last August and want to start making some mods. I bought the 60hp version and had a Vtech map loaded before I picked it up, but so far that's the only change I've made.

What im wanting to find out from all you guys that have been modding their Sparks is who makes the best bits? Or which combination works best?

The parts I'm thinking of are:

    Exhaust (Worx, R&D or Riva)
Waterbox (Think this is only available from Riva at present)
    Wear ring (R&D or Riva)
    Impeller (Skat Trak or Solas)
    Grate (R&D, Worx or Riva)
    Sponsons (R&D, Worx or Riva)

So so do I go all Riva with the exception of the prop, or is there a better option?

Also, does anyone know if Riva have progressed there air intake at all as this is something I'm also interested in changing, but not sure that the R&D version would offer much of a gain being mounted as it is in the hot air inside the hull.

Any advise you guys can offer would be a real help.

Most if them are a waste of $ ...

For the 60 the biggest gain is the tune , stainless wear ring will help ..

drop the factory sponsons and will make a good change..

I have the tune. So are you saying other than going the turbo route there's no way of me making and further performance gains. The R&D package that has tune, sponsons, grate etc that's supposed to give 60mph. Is that BS??

I really recommend the riva sponsons, gives the spark a great look!
And yes, i know i have installed it wrong... Did it in a hurry...RH backing plate on the LH side on the hull and the other way around. Works if you want them angled inward for some reason...

Will an air filter exhaust and water box help me pull a few extra rpm's, which would then maybe benefit a different impeller?

In my opinion the steering upgrade is the best thing I have done to my spark . I now have the bar and throttle how I like. I also put an exhaust on sounds good but no gains.

It all helps but how much I don't know. I would have been better off just buying the turbo. Next year.....

Thought about that. But I don't need any faster. Happy with what I have.

I have a tune, home made intake and exhaust. Besides the tune doing wonders from the 60 hp, the other two did not do much besides the sound. The best thing that I did was buy a spare engine access cover and punch a bunch of holes then cover the holes with frog skinz. Getting more air into the hull gained a decent amount of rpms, and if it is rough out or I am going to be messing around and turning the ski over, I just throw the other cover on.
