    2003 MSX140 running rough

I am having issues with my 03 msx 140 running rough with no engine light coming on. It will run great for about 5 or 10mins., then starting hesitating at different RPM`s. Here is a list of everything I have done. New TPS, exhaust temp sensor, The air temp checked out good, replaced fuel pump and re-attached fuel regulator, also checked CPS for debris and was good. The fuel pressure and volts to the fuel injectors are good, at least while running out of the water. Any ideas?

Sounds like the EMM is the issue. They are known to fail. Are your cooling lines for the EMM flowing water correctly?

Check your compression on a cold motor, then run the motor until it starts giving you problems and recheck the compression. Might be time for a top end rebuild. As the motor heats up the metals expand. Could be the issue.

The cooling lines were flowing. Will check that out and check the compression also. Will let you guys know.

Yes it needs to have the NGK PZFR6H plugs. Does the hesitation occur all across the RPM band when the engine warms up?

Yes new plugs and they are the correct ones. It occurs all across the rpm band when warmed up.

If that is the case, it seems like either a compression issue or EMM issue. What max RPM can you achieve while riding on the water? (on flat water) should be anywhere between 6600 and 6900 RPM.
