Good carb kit? bogs on water but not on trailer.
WOuld this be a decent carb kit to order? My ski ran great last year just had a starting problem, I sold it near middle last year and well i just bought it back last week, From what i was told they could never get it to run, So the fuel tank was near empty So i added 4 gallons of fuel 50:1. adjusted the carb and took it out today, runs great on the trailer but on the water you gotta keep it choked and it bogs and when it does take off on plane it runs great for afew moments then bogs out and trys to shut off, I did add a inline electric fuel pump for priming the system, but only used once to start because the lines and carb was dry and hasn't been used again to start or run because it hasn't been needed.....

Did removing the rope solve the problem? BTW, I have never personally used the winderosa kits, but I have heard good things from people who have. I usually get my kits from OSDParts.com. Don't know if they have the round body kits or not. But they have genuine mikuni kits, fast shipping and include new SS capscrews for free. A nice upgrade. BTW, add the internal screw kit to the order so you have new screws inside and out.

I had bad luck with winderosa kits. After rebuilding with winderosa, the ski did not run right. I looked at everything else, including taking the fuel sender out of the tank. Come to find out, the newly rebuilt carbs were bad. I put on genuine mikuni kits and problem solved. Sucks about the winderosas, especially since they are made in the usa. I would have thought the winderosas would be better quality. Also not that the winderosas do not come with replacement internal fuel filters.
