I don't think riva make a intake grate for the svho yet, the one on there website is the TBM. I would like to know if the r&d grate is any improvements, specially on the porposing.

I installed the R&D and Back to back i felt no real difference in top end. I did notice it handled better, the ski felt more "glued to the water". I need a GPS to verify speed. My buddy who sold me it said it picked up a solid 1mph on his back to back.

Only reason i want the intake grate is for better traction a quicker takeoff mine feels like it is cavatating a little

You can always fill your stock intake grate with casting resin, it helps eliminate cavitation if thats your major concern. The intake grate alone wont help eliminate cavitation.

This is the RIVA one I purchased for the SVHO.
That one is for the FX SVHO

For the FZ SVHO I recommend the R&D grate

I feel i would be better off changing the grate to
R&d and fill it vs just filling it and keeping stock does anyone else agree?
