RXT Mirror Gauges Project
Just wanted to share my mirror gauges project. In my searches prior to doing this, I found that people wanted to do this with the RXT but couldn't find a way.
I apologize for not having pictures of the install, they were all on my phone that recently got destroyed.
Here's what I have:
Customized Speedhut 10psi boost and wideband A/F gauges, innovate LC2 with the 02 sensor in the exhaust manifold.
The pod is found here- http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=209801
Here's what I did:
The pod is made for the RXP mirror, which has a place for the screws to screw into. For the RXT, it has to be attached with brackets, as there is nowhere inside the mirror for those screws to screw into. So I used two 90 degree metal brackets(right two screws) and a few inches of metal strap(left screw) and attached them to the pod with nuts and bolts. I drilled 3 holes in the mirror(2 on the right side, one on the bottom left) and used automotive trim clips to attach the brackets to the mirror. The mirror assembly is held on with two bolts, I removed one and ran all the wires through there into the hood. Then sealed everything up with silicone.
If anyone is interested in doing this I would be glad to give more details.
