Hello everyone, I wanted to post some information on a 2004 fx140 problem I am having. I had took down the motor for a friend that was blown. compression goes as follows 160, 30, 120, 90. Turns out that the #1 rod and bearing completly fried. I took all the parts to get checked by local shops near me and turns out the heads were good, a new crank was needed, cylinders needed to be bored and one needed a new cylinder. In other words, engine needed to be rebuilt.

I finally got everything and built it up to the timing part. I followed the service manual getting #1 piston to tdc and I lined up the cam dots to the arrows in the cam caps but I only get compression on #4 cylinder. Cylinders 1, 2, and 3 are not shooting anything. Is this normal or have I done something wrong?
