01 yamaha xlt 1200pv no power anywhere

Hi all. I've been watching forums since 2010...figured I have an opportunity to participate. Recently acquired an 01 yamaha xlt 1200pv. Ran flawless last year. Only replaced rectifier. This year New battery installed. New start solenoid. Still nothing on this ski. Zero beeps or clicks anywhere. No power...no start. Where to look? Help

Did you check the fuses? Also, if the brass contacts in the kill switch are not engaging properly, there will be no power to the dash.

did you hook the 2 thick red wires and the little red wire back up when you changed the solenoid?
did you put the little red wire on the correct terminal?

My new solenoid install looks like this. I went and opened up start stop and lanyard switch. All seemed to work properly. I cleaned contact while apart. Maybe I should have tested for voltage up there? All fuses look good not burnt....

I can't tell from the pic. The little red wire should be going to the positive cable to the battery and not the one going to the starter. The little red wire sends power to everything so that's where you have to start looking for power. Also make sure the plugs on the outside of the box are connected. The biggest one goes to the stator and serves as the ground for all of the electronics
