Not likely .... remember, Insurance & liability issues .... are the main reason why the ski manufacture do not build them now.

    Let's look at the past:

In 2005 the fastest stock ski offered was the RXP around 68mph. The world record was 87mph by Riva in a highly modified GP1200r.

In 2015 the fastest stock ski is the Yamaha FZR and it goes around 68mph. Any Joe Blow with 10 grand can drop a SHO in a GPR and run 87mph with 100% reliability. Heck, you can buy a GPRXP for around 5k already done with mods that does 85+. The world record is what now? 112?

10 years from now, Kawasaki will no longer sell skis and Seadoo will have an on-board sun screen dispenser.

Seadoo will release the successor to the Spark called the Flare. It will be made out of recycled plastic and feature a 100hp direct injection turbocharged engine obtaining the best fuel mileage ever seen in a jet ski, while still only going 45mph.

Grip reverse will be the norm on all skis (ie. ibr and RIDE)

I like the idea of small solar panel somewhere providing power for accessories.

Lighter and quieter would seem to be logical along with better fuel economy. Maybe a hybrid ski that runs off of ICE and battery?

Onboard GPS maybe in the display?

While the SPARK has its flaws, I think the return of smaller and lighter skis at a lower price point might be more common place.

A factory stereo option for all skis.

Factory stereo will never be an option, too distracting and too much liability. Same with factory GPS.

Highly efficient naturally aspirated is the future. Heck, stock for stock the VXR is the fastest ski sold today.
