Kawartha Lakes
I'm looking at doing a day trip to the Kawartha as I've never been out that way. Probably not this weekend as the weather looks like shit, but possibly next Sunday. I know a good number of you guys ride there, so I figured I'd get some info. Mainly interested in a PWC friendly launch and which one of the lakes is most "scenic" I guess. It'll be a day trip so I doubt I'll get to see more than one of the lakes. Let me know what you guys think.. and tour guides are welcomed lol.

I'm on Pigeon.
you can ride four lakes without a lock, Pigeon, Buckhorn, Chemung, Balds. Lots of water for a good day ride. Bridge north is a good launch as suggested.
Most scenic I would say is Stoney, lots of islands to dodge around, a good gps is necessary here. You can run through Clear Lake to Youngs Point and lock through to Lakefield if you have the time. Burliegh Falls has a good, free launch but it's on the high side so you would need to lock through to get on Stoney. Not familiar with other launch ' s in the area but there should be many. Youngs point may have a launch site call the lock master they are great for info.
I can't ride next weekend but would be a willing guide for any who's interested another time.
Kevin and Jim are great guys who know these lakes, plus another fella on here on an RXPX. Lots of guides around here.
If you go another weekend let me know.

Thanks for the input guys, I can't make it out this Saturday as work has me tied down already. Sunday if weather is good but I'll definitely be in touch for other weekends as well.
