Best Spark Plugs for FZS/FZR With Minor Bolt Ons

Hi Team,

My 2009 FZS is still running strong!! Just about to do my spark plug replacements. Wondering what I should go with. Here is my list of what I have done to the ski so far.

Riva Free Flow Exhaust Kit
Riva Intake Manafold Upgrade Kit
Riva Power Filter Kit
Riva/Solas 13/22R Impellar

If I go with OEM are they pre Gapped or aftermarket is there some other good options?

What are your suggestions for spark plugs.

Your valve cover tells you the correct plug gap.

Any issue (besides cost) running the iridium version of the stock NGK plug?

After hundreds of hours, I can tell you we have gotten excellent performance with the NGK plugs and I replaced them with the same OEM plugs.

iridium is great in cars because the electrode lasts forever. they foul easier in skis and they should be replaced long before the oem has a chance to burn up anyway. I did notice a slightly smoother idle putting iridium in my seadoo but Id say its really a waste of money
