im way confused are they for real? what have you actually got going on under the panel? i dont think it will yeild any reward as the panel has more than enough for air travel.

Soo, you can put a vent tube under that panel , but vent on top of it aren't a good idea ? You make me laugh

Nickjack and Waz know everything, they will yield the award if we are worthy.

yes the vent goes on the panel underneath the idea its protected from water ingress under the panel where it can breath. we fit the oem intake tube coupler on the flat area opposite the fuel filler on rhs. then run a tube along the top of the fueltank if you remove the rear tubes you can use one of them and just buy the coupler. glad to help unlike some who dont deserve it.

There's going to be a vent under the flow rites , ordered one. Water can flow right under this panel if I flipped either way was my logic.

Been much much debate and good ideas regarding air mods as these machines are naturally starving for air as the ski being water tight holds the most priority..
I see only one way to draw in cooler air and that is a custom ram air system as you move forward air and it's velocity drawn somewhat towards the inside hull thru the recall plate which can be complete removed and use a Frogskinz /Flow Rite built in that small plastic plate..
Overall more intake air and removing exhaust air will yield you maybe 100-150 rpms and snappier throttle response, the water entering the IC will cool the air that will go into intake manifold enough, you'll see your best #s with low humidity and colder waters regardless of your air mods ,but we like that little edge
Here my ram air intake mod as Nj nicknamed "the nostrils" ha ha but I like and can be removed for stock..

I think the flo rites where I have them will compliment that Nicely , dave. I drilled small holes in the " nostrils " too but nothing crazy. I think there is definitely a good bit of air flowing under the front hood by that panel , I'll see if I gain any rpm when I install the oem tube under there.
Nic , me either , other day I was idling and my friend went by me slowly and it almost rolled over though. Pinned the gas and it straightend out. Caught me off guard was the smallest wake. Hopefully removing this secondary water-box doesn't off set the weight distribution even more
