Removing old bearings from jet pump stator

Hey guys, I am rebuilding (replacing) the bearings and seals in my impeller stator housing while I have it all apart and am a little lost in how I remove the old bearings.

I removed the seals (easy enough) but am not sure of a good way to press the bearings out since there is one on each side. Is there a proper way to remove the bearings without damaging the inside surfaces? I have heard baking the entire assembly to loosen everything up, has anyone tried this or any other method with success?

    I appreciate the help! Thanks

I used a 6" 3/8" extension and a hammer to tap them out. I've rebuilt 4 Polaris stators doing this and never had an issue.

Heat the stator housing in the oven to about 220 and they will come right out with a tap from a hammer. I used a propane torch to heat up the housing around the bearing area.

Heated the stator assy up to about 275, easy to tap out the bearings! Did the same for install of new, also put the new bearings in the freezer for 45 mins prior... Put some anti-sieze on the outer race, and was able to press the bearings into place with my hands, easy as hell.

    Thanks for the tips guys!
