    Need Help-Intercooler Failure?

Yesterday I had bad bogging on my Ski (05 w/ 09 rxpx motor). After stopping and trying to start it again it wouldn't turn over. I found after pulling the plugs I had water in the motor. I turned over the motor as much as I could to get water out the cylinders and drained all the oil. There was no water in the hull so I'm thinking my stock intercooler went bad?

Pull the intake off and dump the water out of it. Pressure test the intercooler, but it sounds like that is the issue. Replace it making sure the rubbber ring on the end doesn't fall off. Get some cheap equivalent oil and run the motor on it for about ten minutes. Rinse and repeat until all the milkyness is gone from the oil. Might take three or four changes. I assisted fixing a 04 RXP with the same problem early last year. Last I heard it is still going strong. He even ran around a tank through it with it leaking!

Appreciate the feedback thats exactly what I'm going to get started on now, just hope the head doesn't get damage from all the water sitting in it since Saturday? i haven't had time to get to it yet.

You need to get it out ASAP, but the ski we worked on sat for at least a week before it got to us and was fine. Even has the crap valves.

No it has the 09 rxpx motor in it with the upgraded valves. I got the intake manifold off the motor drained all the water out and the intercooler is out. Any good suggestions on an aftermarket intercooler that's a direct replacement of the Seadoo intercooler? I didn't realize they were trash,

Is it an 09 intercooler? I don't think they had failure problems until 2011 or 2012 model year.
