1997 stx 1100 cooling line issue
Dropped my zxi 1100 motor in stx hull. There are 2 1/2 hoses running to the back one to jet and one to im not sure what it is called. One hose you cannot blow through at all. I am getting water out the back and out the pisser but engine is running hot. Any ideas. I tried compressed air in the clogged hose and nothing.

Here's a parts diagram of the cooling system: http://www.powersedge.com/oemparts/a...78dca9/cooling
Don't forget to check for obstructions to the stator cooling chamber. This is a common problem. Remove one of the hoses and gently blow through it. If plugged, time to pull the front cover and clean it. You'll have to replace the O-rings. While you've got it apart, replace the oil pump drive coupling bearings, too. You can get the bearings for a lot less money locally than from Kawasaki, get a pair of 6901 2RS bearings.

Where does hose 92191d go to? That is the one I cannot get any flow through.

The drawings are not clear on that, looks like it exits out the back of the hull, but it doesn't really show it. I'll look at mine later, but it's raining right now.

Thank you. 110 psi won't budge it

I looked at my 'Ski, that hose has a sharp 90° bend in it and goes to a bulkhead fitting on the top of the jet pump tunnel. It's probably plugged up with mud daubers or something.
As I type this, mine has some wasps building a nest on the same fitting.

Thanks a ton found the clog. Still running hot on front cylinder. About 175 after a minute. Compression is 115 on all cylinders. Took every hose off and clear. Have good flow out the back and pisser. Neither of which are hot. Should I pull the head off to take a look at water jacket?

Is it running hot in the water, or just on the hose? The hose doesn't give normal cooling.
If it overheats in the water, you'd probably be better off pulling everything apart to find out why.
I run strainers in my 'Skis to keep trash out of the engine.
