It works great but it uses 12v instead of 5v. So you have power, ground, signal in and signal out. The striped wire I think(from memory) is the one you CUT and splice the fcd beyween

No I never did try it but it will not work unless you have a mbc installed

The fcd2 and the resistor mod both potentially do just that limit the high voltage signal that triggers limp mode..
So a manual boost controller is required to keep boost in check. On my first r12x I modded I used the fcd2 setup and above 14.5ish psi stock fuel system couldn't keep up...
So I added meth injection to help when I ran above 15psi...
On my current ski I (as of now) havnt done any boost mods... Only big ic & strait pipe and that alone put me @6350 on stock prop... So I'm content considering if I went with more than 1+ psi I would be on limiter.... And the correct prop would take about $400 to have impros tweak it to spec for it to be worth wile... And to me it's not worth $500 for 3mph / 3ski faster in a 1/8 mile...

Hey jlfx car audio I did the same as you with the mods and thank you for your help in the passed with that and i logged 70 + hours on it with those mods and a set of Nitro springs and retainers. The ski will hit a top speed of 66 mph at 17 psi of boost the ski has grand total 290 hours on it. Thanks again!

Right now a 18/30 but it's slowing the ski down the rpm is at 5600 I will go back to a 17/29 this week ! I would like to try a SKAT-TRAK 17/28 to see what would happen with the mph.

I was at a 13.5/31 stock prop... It was awesome from a dig and on top...
The 18 leading edge is killing your holes hot. I tried going steeper first also with all the "hype" of taller leading edge and I found it slowed ski down from a dig.

My ski ran it's best last night that it has ever ran (this is my new ski I got last summer) it ran @ 6400 rpm @ stock boost with stock prop. But it has larger ic and strait exhaust I built myself... GPSed 65.2mph I was impressed water Temps were 61deg and air temp was 80. Water was almost glass
