Permatex #29132 "motoseal...good for crankcase halves reassembly?

I bought some Permatex #29132 "motoseal" from the parts house. Can anyone assure me this will work on putting my crankcase halves back together?

I've never used it. Is it made for crankcase assembly? Is it impervious to fuel and oil? The only thing I've ever used is 1211 for engine assembly so I can't really answer specifically on the permatex.

Here is the info from the site. It seems to be right i guess...

"For two and four cycle engines. Solvent-based bond fully seals within 20 minutes. Forms a tough flexible bond that is highly effective on irregular and uneven joint surfaces. Resists gasoline and other damaging fluids. Withstands temperatures 350°F (177°C) continuous, 400°F (204°C) intermittent."

Sounds like it would work, but I have no experience with it. Are you gonna try it?

Just put the new crank in and sealed it up good with it. Seems good to me. Im sure its gonna work. Was inquiring about it to see if others had used it or if there was something better. Good thing is you can get this at any major parts house!
