    Ribbon removal

    Just wondering if anyone has removed the ribbon from the throttle body ? if you have how ? cheers.

    Yes done it goes great as for before cannot remember a week in between but come paired to my mate stock 90 hp better all through the rpm range

    Ribbon delete is something that can be done on a stock Spark with no other mods needed?

    Yes Q but you need the replacement part from WORX. Maybe U could knock one up.
    xdrian how did you get it out ? mine seems pretty well stuck in there.

    If you had a lathe and some aluminium and time you could knock one up probably not worth the effort to do it and get it right and to get the right air flow.

    The old one came out fairly easy gave it a tap and out it came you need the new part so you can clamp the rubber back on solid.

    Cut the old OEM clamp first on TB next to intake mani and work out honeycombe disk with small screw driver .

    Replace oem clamp with skinny work drive clamp ...

    all done , after u reinstall top deck ...

    It should take about 1hr

    number #3 is what you take out and put in ribbon delete

    what is the 'ribbon delete'? I get removing the restriction, but what do you put back in? and why?
