Question: Locking lug nuts on trailer

Does anyone put locking lug nuts on custom wheels for their ski trailer?
Last season I purchased new Alum rims and new tires. At the time also purchased
new acorn lugs but no locks. Trailer and ski are kept in my garage, unless I'm at the lake.
Maybe I'm just over thinking this.

Just wondering what others have done here
    Thank you

Sure. Take them off often and anti seize the threads. They can't handle power as well as a regular nut if they rust on.

But you should also get the toothed Snap on socket designed to be hammered on that can remove those nuts. Incase the nut fails and your "key socket" strips. Better tire shops will have this tool. When I travel South, they don't even know what a plug patch is.
