    Polaris SL750 pickup coil

Im searching for a part number for a replacement pickup coil/crank sensor. Its for a 1995 Polaris SL750. stator tested good, pickup coil was a dead circuit.

The 'pickup coil' is part of the stator.

How does the stator test 'good' yet have a bad coil?

The pick up coil, or crank sensor is part of the stator, but it is a seperate piece, I've replaced many crank sensors on atvs, dirtbikes, etc without replacing the stator along with it. Just requires a little bit of cutting, splicing and soldering. Just have to be able to find the correct sensor to splice in.

After a large headache, stripping the bolt holes on the flywheel, drilling, then breaking a tap off in the flywheel. I ended up pulling the motor today, i got the flywheel off today. I destroyed the stator due to heating the flywheel. Where is the best place to order a new stator kit? I can get one from SBT for $148 at my cost. any place cheaper?

ok, I have the new Stator in, the motor dropped back in and I still have no spark. Whats the specs for the coil packs? What else can I check? New Stator was purchased thru SBT, regulator/rectifier was replaced last summer. I pulled the oil tank out as i installed a block off plate last summer, do the oil sensor wires need to be connected or disconnected from each other? Im starting to fear the cdi is bad but I want to check any possible issues before replacing it.
