    Different riding plates

Been working on my SLX machines a bit recently, and just this last weekend noticed each one has a different riding plate. I took some pictures and posted below. I'm guessing one of the two is OEM, then I'm trying to figure out what the other plate is. Anyone chime in? I plan on taking them off Thursday to check part numbers, but before then I was hoping someone would recognize them. Really hoping one of the two is the Ocean Pro plate.

This looks like an OEM ride plate, but it is cracked. I would remove it and discard.

I am not sure whether that SLX stock ride plate is the regular or 'extended' length. Looks like the shorter version.

The extended ride plate helps smooth out the ride in rough water and reduces 'porpoising'. The Ocean Pro 'O' ride plate has similar effects, but also affects straight line tracking and cornering.

Thanks. Yea I was thinking it should be replaced, just wasn't sure if I needed to buy 2x Ocean Pro plates or not. No ideas what this plate is? I wonder if it's the extended since it comes out further on the jet pump.

The 170 dollar one is for the SLTX. That one doesn't apply to your ski. The 130 dollar one you linked to is the one you want.

I'll hold off and see if anyone has a used one of something, $130 apiece is a little steep.

The O versions rarely if ever come up used. You will be waiting a long long time, and may not get much of a better deal. 130 bucks for a new ride plate is really not a high price. Id jump on them now if you ever want to get them. I have a feeling that when their current stock is gone, you may never see these again.
