The air filter is your next best mod besides the ride plate, filling the ride plate holes help slightly, don't mess with the timing, can hurt reliability & right now this ski can runs good on 87 gas, cutting the middle blade of the grate does nothing tried it, if you ride in mainly smooth water a pump wedge can give you almost 1 more mph, especially with a full tank of fuel. The exhaust elbow might work, I haven't got around to trying it yet, the 2009 & up skis with only one muffler seem to run a bit stronger.

The following things worked well on my 06, stock engine 15F that has 135 hours on it.
Added a pump nozzle wedge.
Group K machined the stock plate for solo riding.
New Solas impeller as stock impeller had metal erosion from cavitation, filled the pump bearing housing with Mercury outboard gear lube to minimize bearing water intrusion.
Cut out the center grate bar.
Filled the ride plate holes with string and JB weld.
Removed the flame arrestor and kept the air filter screen and stock air box.
64.7 @ 360 feet elevation, 180 lb rider, 80 deg day full of fuel.
