    did i go to tall of a prop?

    installed a 15/21 solas and ski wont go above 68-70 @8000-8100. i cant tell if the tune was eresed over winter or if i fucked up and bought to tall of a prop. waiting for jonathen to look over my data logs. also says my throttle wasnt 100%? any ideas?

    I would have went with a 15/20, with those mods. And then checked it to make sure it was a 15/20.

    I agree I would have went with a shorter prop, you can have the prop re pitched

    Were are you guys getting them re pitched, and if a 15/21 is to much, Prop, what the good of a 15/22

    I agree, first thing to do with any new impeller is check the pitch.

    There are plenty of people here who will pitch a prop, for a small fee. If a 15/21 is too much prop, then you want a 15/20, or 15/19, not a 15/22. Some people have enough power to turn a 15/22, or more.

    Jerry has a "how to" on this. I have never done it and decided to give it a go. Followed the how to and it is quit easy.
    Just need patients. You can get it right where YOU want it when you do it. Not saying the "Prop pitching" pro's can't, its just there a few things the they can't control when your shipping it away. They will get you dam close to where you should be but the fine tuning is tough when they don't have your ski. Took me 4 times of pump pulling and a few hours.

    Let's back up a sec. Would a 21 prop make me lose 300 rpm??
