Spark Plugs
I have an Fx SHO that was brand new last season. I put aproximately 26 hours on it. The marina that services my boat and jetski put in new spark plugs as part of the summeraztion process. Is this over aggresive maintaince or is that the normal schedule for replacement.
I ask only because there was never any mention of spark plug replacement when telling me what is included in winterazation and summerazation. I really like this marina and feel they have always treated me very fairly. I don't mind the extra cost but just want to know if I am being oversold and need to ask more questions next year. Thanks for your replies.

I use new spark plugs each season, although I put them in when winterizing. I put about 50 hours a year on both my FZR and FX HO.

Same here.....a new set every year, usually mid season as that is when I first changed them......oil change every 33-35 hrs with filter every other time. I average 60 hrs a year.

Yes you should have new plugs after it has been winterized.

I change the plugs and oil every year. I ride about 20-25 hrs/year.
