max safe rpm for stock SPARK valve-train?

What can i safely spin my new SPARK to?

I see R&D has tunes up to 9000r.p.m.; as they do for 4-tecs, but the 4-tec is only good for 8350 w/o valve-train mods.

Where does the SPARK line up in all of this? whats safe for a stock SPARK valve-train?

I see the 9000 rpm tunes I am not tempted to just to get a few more km/ph or race you can't tell anyway with out a gps.

I have loaded 8500rpm 101 tune and seams to hold on 8300rpm constant but I don't run it at max rpm for any long time no point.

One of the guys I saw photos replacing the front gears to the oil pump ect are all made of plastic so must have a max loading rating.

I am happy with the 8500 101 tune gives good hole shot and power all through the rpm range with the bust to max rpm all going well.

Just gone 158hrs up to you.

You won't be disappointed. the difference between the 60 stock and the vetch 109hp is like night and day.

Spark's 900 ace is a overhead cam. Same as sport bikes that rev to 14-16,000 rpm. Shouldn't really see any issues with any running rpm. Maybe some springs and that little motor could really scream.

I've got 60 hours on mine, almost all of that has been WOT banging the rev limiter in and out of surf. LOL
