    Well been playing around with it for about a week now nothing new to update top speed, still trying to figure out the best pump setup. I definitely have a lot more power on the bottom end and mid range but still falls short on the top end to turn bigger props. It turns a 13/19 7,800 rpm at 65mph better than a 14/18 7,600 rpm at 62, i think i need to try a 13/20 and a 13/21. Its crazy how different the pump reacts to the 4 stroke motor vs the oem 2 stroke. I think some of my top end problems might be not enough fuel pressure im putting a fuel pressure upgrade on it this winter along with a intake upgrade. i might try taking the riva stage one tune off it and just play with the fuel tuner, i had alot of good response with the fuel tuner last year. On a different note i am amazed with the oil catch can upgrade the the original round one would leak oil out of the filter all the time, the triangle one not a drop. This ski is so much fun to ride just amazing how quick it is for just being all motor.

    I wonder how converting to an ultra lx pump would affect things. It would be a lot of work though.

    Yeah changing the pump would have made getting more top end a lot easier, but i would have had to modify the pump tunnel if i use a larger pump. I think on this conversion i just wanted to change the engine keeping the rest of the ski true to its original plate form and add performance parts that where made for an ultra 150. Never thought i would have so much trouble with the pump considering the rpms the 15f can turn. Im sure i could throw a turbo on it to give it more power but its kind of a better challenge keeping it naturally aspirated. My new conversion is the complete opposite of this build.

    Which ecu tune are you using? Is it a pump gas tune?

    I was under the impression riva's stage one tune is a 93 octane tune but I'm not sure so I have emailed riva to confirm.

    The G8 is my wife's car 2009 bought it brand new.
