So does anyone know how big and long the bolt should be and the tap to make this work? Should you do 2 bolts? Pinned on opposite sides?

Only one screw is needed, do not use a bolt. A Phillips head screw about 10mm in length is all that's needed. Just like Yamaha themselves used to use in 2012 and older housings

im still kinda nervous about pinning charger and warranty. Say the shaft breaks and wipes out charger could they void warranty cause teqnically you modified your charger even if its unrealated ??

I cannot see Yamaha voiding a warranty for installing a set screw just like Yamaha themselves used to do on 2012 and older superchargers (see above pic). Yamaha should still be pinning these housings!!!

Furthermore, putting that set screw could not cause any other component of the supercharger to fail. It prevents it from failing.

After doing the drill and tap, all metal cuttings must be properly cleaned away. Metal shavings are not something you want going into the supercharger.

This work should NOT be done with the supercharger assembled, correct?

What seems like straightforward/obvious work methods for someone with a machinist type background may not be obvious to someone else who only does bolt-on modifications.

There is no how-to video or step by step photos posted, correct? Just before and after photos.
