Sorry Dennis, I am not sure I fully understood all your comments but I have a 2011 seadoo GTI so I suppose that it is OK!
I will have a look to the 2015 seadoo GTI steering harness and ask to one BRP dealer where could I purchase a wiring kit with a rf DESS key!

    Hello Dennis,

I had a look to BRP parts for the electrical harness following this link:
    http://www.seadoopartshouse.com/oemp...ctrical-system

I think that I need to purchase parts described below.
    item 209: Switch 515177458 $56.99
    item 171: Anti-Theft Tether Cord 278003092 $55.99

Could you confirm that these are the only parts that I need to order?

    Thanks
    Fabrice

Don't forget item 13 (the nut) and your going to need the mating plug and pins to be able to make a harness.

Yes, but I think that the nut is the same I have for old DESS post.

For plug and pins, I need to check the part reference.

    Thanks again

Sorry to bring up an old thread but how did this work out? My key on my 2010 is a pain in the a$$ and this would be a great mod! How did you do the wiring where did you pull the extra 12v from?

Did you determine whether or not it was a switched or a constant 12V? I think that's the only missing piece for people.>

Looked further into the wiring diagrams. For all thos wondering, its a switched 12V connection.

No need to make a harness. All you need is the rf fob and the post with its harness. You have 2 options depending on harness and if it was cut or has the ends still attached.

If ends still attached it's a cleaner stock looking install. Disconnect your stock one and install the new ones in place of those disconnected.. they are the exact same color coded wires.

If harness was cut , no problem. Just cut your original harness solder and heat shrink the splices. Once again a no brainer as wires are the same color code.

Ok this is the hardest part. Not really but people will be people so I included pics.

There is a fourth wire that needs to be hooked up. This is the power up wire and it is purple. On the main black connector it is the last purple wire. Follow this wire to the gray connector and tee the one coming off the rf key switch to it.. that's it.
