Fuck that, might as well get complete head work, light weight valves, springs & retainers, new guides, porting, CP pistons, Carrillo rods, block guard, ARP fly wheel bolts, Colt Cam. And since the flywheel bolts failed and trashed the oil system…you can add new oil pump internals, scavenge pump internals, both oil pump housing machined, magneto, stator, flywheel, and all the other friggin parts and seals that need to be replaced!

Ask me how I know all about this…...

My engine is at www.mjperformance.net right now undergoing an autopsy……..more to follow.

My OEM flywheels bolts failed at the 135 hour point after much abuse….was on last 82+ mph run of the day……had to swim and drag ski to shore for about 100 yards, then drag ski for about an hour along the shore line.

"We can rebuild him…..much stronger….more powerful…" it is only lots of $$$$ right???

All you guys contemplating upgrading to ARP flywheel bolts….just do it.

    I feel u pain , I feel it alright ...

My bolts let go at 140 hrs on my S3 , but I was lucky it let go around a CC course backing of around a marker ... So my damage wasn't as bad ... Got mine all balanced and assembling my motor on the next couple of days ....

Yes ARP 134-1002. Does any parts houses in Sweden carry this kind of stuff? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/arp-134-1002 or Jerry's link above from the USA.

Only indication I had of impending failure was a very distinct vibration felt through the steering, seat, and hull that only lasted a few seconds. Eased off the throttle and it died abruptly.

I obviously wished I had replaced them prior to OEM failure…….VERY expensive repair.
