First future of pykes committee meeting held last night

    Committee members
    1. pwc rep, myself (Happyfingers)
    2. marine police
    3. tsv (transport safety victoria)
    4. srw x 4 (southern rural water)
    5. rep from irrigators
    6. pykes residentual land owner
    7. boating (some dude from melton speedboat club)
meeting focused on terms of reference, some discussion in relation to the issues of public behaviour, possible direction for pykes, funding, possible improvements, stakeholder issues, potential closure to public.

I wont go into any further detail as nothing has been decided
this is simply a heads up that this committee exist and that these issues are being discussed

I would of posted this on the Australian forum but it seems very neglected in that no one is posting there
, obviously the forum is poorly managed

    Hello All

Cant say to much as the 'terms of reference' dont permit me to discuss details
im also not permitted to accept bribes

but rest assured these meetings are still taking place and the future use of pykes is still being determined (i get paid to attend as well which wasnt expected )
all options are still on the table
the facility will continue as is for this summer

next summer things 'could' be different

it would greatly help all pwc users of pykes if all pwc users complied with maritime law and facility rules at all times.
including taking all your rubbish home with you

i would post this on the Australian pwc Forum but im no longer a member of that forum as the owner is a cry baby

I went to pykes on saturday with my son . 3 water board menbers were there checking for lic , reg and a torch .A few got turned away for whatever reason . Good to see but some boat owners and pwc owners still do not know the rules .

been to 3 of these now

missed one due to overtime at work

nothing has been decided yet but some of the options on the table are ramp fees payable by an app, a jetty for launching and retrieving is being explored, fixing up the car park and its also still possible they will close the thing to powered vessels altogether.

so behave when you are out there.
also be sure to take all your waste home with you as that is a major issue
