Dame that is bad, every R&D intake I've ever had, I've had to clean up, but that is way out.

Has anyone got any pics of the Riva one??

Riva one is very clean compared to that. I have Riva's on my TX and PX, very happy with them.

Wait, so these need filing and fine tuning? I was hoping to just bolt that mother on and go

Fine tuning refers to cleaning up / off the casting swarf. The grindung to fit is the thickness of the front mounting plate.

I have about the same amount of time in mine as greenbullet. Mine leaned to the right a ridiculous amount. For the price this is utter bullshit.

Is it just the R&D that requires so much babysitting or are they all a big project? Maybe I should just cancel my order and order the Riva grate

only the R&D from what I've seen but I've only messed with 255 X model grates and 215 grates. I haven't played with the S/T3 yet.

    Yep.

However, there are times when grinding down the 3 raised tabs in rear (where it touches pump shoe) isn't enough and one needs to file down the plastic pump shoe (where it touches intake grate). This is fine if one stays with the R&D, but bad if one later changes to a better fitting intake grate.

I still haven't made my R&D flush because I'm not ready for this long term relationship. Lame QC!

(I'm speaking only for the T3 hulls)
