Got past my break in and this is what I got!
Well first off just want to say Hi and Jerry thanks for the great place to chat about our RXPs.
Here goes.
Well I will teel it how it is and wont bring any Bull to the table. LOL.
Just give me feed back as to how I compare to yall's
Full tank of gas all the way to the top. Warmed up 20mins.
66 mph
1/2 tank
67.5 mph.
empty with light on.
69.3mph.
What I see funny is I had all the speeds claimed on the boards just had to know where everyone had there gas level.
With a Full tank. No way a stock RXP will do 69+
I love her. She's fun.
Just love the way it handles stock. I mean it spins and plays with the best of them. Wounder if I want to install these Block Off's?

mad ed,
Is that what it staed on the gauges or did yo have a gps you used for the speed? Just so you know the guages are way off, I have had mine read 75mph and was actualluy only doing around 70 by gps.

as far as I can tell, those are great numbers water, but they can vary from ski to ski from what I have been hearing also. What rpm's are you hitting when you did your run? As for the OPAS-Block offs, get them. I enjoy my rxp so much more now that they are removed. I love the handling with them off and it rides a lot better to me with them off.

Austin, those are good numbers. Mine took until around the 50 hour mark to start hitting those type of numbers. You got a good unit.

Yea, OK I'll get the block offs. More Work. LOL.
Yea, I followed a good break in. I ran it hard a couple times first time out and then proceeded to finish a by the book break in.
Glad to here these are normal. I thought most people saw 69+ with a 1/2 tank or more.
I dropped it off a my local dealer for the 10 hour service. They weren't busy. He said give him 2 and half hours and come get it.
So in and out in less than 3 hours and $135 bucks.
Only reason I used the dealer for my 10 hr. service was for my warranty. I was one of the one's that bought a 97 and 1/2 GSX ltd. that had all the water ingestion problems and the first thing BRP said was I didn't do the 10 hour service and they could of cought it. So I ended up fighting it all summer and they still made me pay labor. So just being safe with the RXP. Lots of cash in her.
