Handle Bars FIX DIY
Here is a mod that I have made and easy to do if your worried about your handle bars braking.
It doesn't require to drill any holes in the handle bars and weaken them any further.
Take off the white cover and undo the torc bolt and 8mm hex bolts from the covers and remove them.
I used a 3mm by 25mm flat aluminium bar work well.
cut to 280mm length
mark out two 9mm holes at 250mm centerers (I marked out at 248mm) so I could file the hole to exact length)
Then put a small bend in bar to follow underneath and also filed out a small section to fit bottom edge clearance.
Once fitted then filed clearance on side covers to fit back flat.
Bazinga your done

This will add strength across the top and should help stop centre cracks happening by stopping the spread of the bars at the top. In theory
I would first take the white cover off and just have a good look for and defects if so photo and see your dealer before doing anything.
Mine was fine even with big jumps in the surf was OK but with all the talk and mine has only 5 months warranty left so went ahead and did it more for safety.
Best advice don't put full weight onto the bars take some force through your arms less load on the bars and it will be more comfortable ride.

We're going to do this on both of our skis tonight after work! My buddy's has a cracked center piece and the dealer said the claim would take a couple of weeks. So this will give us a whole lot of peace of mind. Thanks for posting this!
