Only the compete fuel pump is sold as new.
Look for a parted out machine or non/running fuel pump to harvest the piece from.

No easy way, just different versions of annoying.
Slide the fuel tank forward (after shifting the oil tank up/back and moving hoses, wires and air tubes out of the way). Then extract the entire fuel pump up and out. Be careful not to snag the fuel level sender float which is fragile. This is easier on the Virage, not so easy on the MSX 140. Hopefully the steering gear gives you enough room to work.
Or try to pry the small cap with the nipples out while the fuel pump is still installed. Use some lube on the rubber donut seal and some warmth to soften the rubber sealing ring. It is a tight fit but it can be worked out. Try not to damage the surrounding fuel tank opening as you need it to reseal when you put the replacement back in.

be thankful its not an ultra 130
had to remove steering gear and the 2 mounts/supports to get the fuel pump out
if they would have engineered the tank a little better with the neck for fuel pump back 1/2 inch it would have came out without removing anything .How stupid a design!
