First, to be clear, I've only jumpered the 1-7 combination using a short u-shaped wire, exactly as you illustrated. I do have 12.40 voltage at the injectors.

I haven't done anything with a diagnostic 4-pin loopback connector.

I've checked voltage on the red wire coming into the TPS connector as far back as the connector where it comes out and splits to the EPS. It's only showing about 1.07 to 1.08 volts. If it's supposed to be carrying 5 volts to the TPS connector, I'm losing 4 volts on the way there. Can I trace back this red wire to its origin and test voltage there?

Origin for all three TPS wires is the large 40-pin main EMM connector.

Looking at the wiring diagram for 2003 MSX 140
Pin 25 is the Red 5 volt power output from EMM.

Pin 5 is the Black ground connection for not only the TPS but also for the air intake and exhaust temperature sensors.

The Green TPS signal wire goes to EMM pin 3

There is a single retaining screw in the middle of that big connector which must be loosed before the connector will come out.

Any luck on troubleshooting further on this issue of "no idle". I am having the same no idle issue and would love any additional troubleshooting.
