Wisconsin/ Milwaukee / Lake Michigan Riders...
I'm originally from right outside of Milwaukee and am planning a trip back home and bringing my Spark back with me. I've never ski'd lake Michigan but always have wanted too.
I'll be there in early August, is riding kind of popular? Only curious because I desperately want to try it out but don't necessarily want to go out alone cause out side the breaker can seem pretty harsh some days.Last edited by Snoman; 12-14-2015 at 12:39 PM.

My friends and I ride Lake Michigan quite frequently. Either out of Oak Creek at Bender Park or out of Racine at North Beach. We prefer Racine. Great marina, you can beach the skis, live music most days, and various water conditions.

I usually go out of McKinley Marina or South Shore. South Shore is only 3 miles from my house. I have gone to Bender a few times too. I like the riding North of Milwaukee better than South.

All sounds good; I'll definitely throw up a post when I'm in town to go out

I'm out on Lake Michigan nearly every weekend - Racine North beach. Excellent beach, marina, Racine Lighthouse, public launch(pwc $7). Bender park is a nice ride just north and Kenosha harbor is just south. Yes the waves (read: white caps) can get nasty (think storm weather) .. but I won't do that again
. Now when the water temp can break 60 deg, I'll be out. Only have a 3/2mm shorty wetsuit. August riding is nice

I grew up near New Buffalo, MI harbor. First stop north of the Indiana state line. Great area to ride, from Benton Harbor to Indiana National Dunes, and everywhere in-between. Warren Dunes, Cook Nuclear, and the Michigan City (Indiana) lighthouse are great attractions.
