Oil injector
Oil injection stopped working on 1 cylinder, burned a hole in the piston. Can I disconnect the oil injector and just mix the gas and oil?

Failing oil injection does not burn a hole in the piston. A lean fuel mixture due to a carb issue is your most likely culprit. Go through your whole fuel system and rebuild/replace as necessary before running again.

Yes you can premix. Your problem was an oil line that pulled loose from cylinder 1 due to too much tension from the factory (and shrinkage). It happened on about 100% of the XLT 1200's. There are those who caught it and those who have burn #1's. No in between's.
