2014 Daroga Round-Up

Well folks. It's time to get ready for the season opening camping/riding/hanging out trip. As usual, the place to be is Daroga State Park, http://www.parks.wa.gov/495/Daroga and we'll be in one of the group sites. Plenty of space to bring whatever tow vehicle prefer, the boat launch is free, there's a cove for leaving your ski in the water overnight, lots of grass for tents, and anything else you could want. The weekend after Memorial Day is the time (May 31-June 1). So, come on out for a great time in the sun, meet some new people. Hope to see some new faces there. Hard to believe it's the third year of this already. And, yes, I AM coming up from Vegas for this.

Almost forgot, IT"S FREE!!!!!

Just a couple more weeks to go before the Round-Up. Can't wait!! Probably won't even have a single ski there, leaving Keto in Henderson so I can bring back my other trailer. Hopefully, someone will let me borrow theirs. . .

Well? Almost time. I found a ski to ride. Will be showing up around 2:00 pm Friday. Hope to see some of my GH friends there this weekend. This is an awesome place to hang out. Did I mention that it's free? How about that the water level is unaffected by the Wanapum Dam damage? Well, all is true. And I even heard that it's supposed to be in the 80s!!! Can't wait!!

Another great trip was had by those that attended. Gorgeous weather, barely any wind, campfires both nights, all skis running and used by all. Even some new riders. Plan on making next year's trip, if you missed it this time around.
