05 seadoo rxp impeller oil questions
Hello I'm sure there are a lot of threads on this but can not find them I have a 2005 rxp and I want to use gear oil for my impeller I have amsoil 75w-90 can I use this if so how much should I use and what can happen if it is to much thanks

Yes you can use that...If this is your first time filling the pump then wipe out all the grease on the bearing and in the anti cavatation cone..once all the grease is wiped out add 3 oz of oil to the pump,(easier if added to the cone then place the pump on the cone)..after a few runs check it and then after that you should need no more than 2.5 oz...IF you over fill it you take a chance in blowing out your front seal..keep it around 2-2.5 oz and you should not have an issue.....
