Will the ride plate from a 08 Fx Sho fit a 08 Fx Ho Cruiser?
Will the ride plate from a 08 Fx Sho (1800cc) fit a 08 Fx Ho Cruiser? (1100cc first of the Nano Hulls)
I fish from a 08 Fx Ho Cruiser and with my fishing rig on the back and my son with me the rear of the ski is a bit heavy so I want a longer ride plate.
Am I correct in thinking that the ride plate from a 08 Fx Sho is longer and will bolt up to a 08 Fx Ho Cruiser?

I can confirm that, I have SHO R&D ride plate on my 08 FX HO, for the 08 both the intake grate and ride plate is same as 1.8L

Thanks for your reply, so the 08 Fx Sho ride plate is longer than the 08 Fx ho cruiser plate?

Are you referring to the length between stock FX SHO and 08 FX HO ?I believe they are identical but I could be wrong, I just know that when buying R&D plate I was told i need to get the one for SHO because the older HO Plates will not work.

Yes I was, my ride plate length stops basically straight after the rear bolts and is straight across the rear but I have seen one on a sho 08 that protrudes out to almost the length of the exit nozzle.

Maybe I'm confusing it with the Intake grate, I will try and dig the email I received from R&D. I'm 100% sure that intake grate between 08 FX HO and 08 FX SHO is identical, but i thought the ride plate was too.

here is the story 08+ FX SHO oem plate will fit like a glove however if you search the forum it sounds like you may lose ~3mph top end speed, so if you need to replace the plate riva SHO may be the way to go.
