Looking forward to a great race day on July 20, 2014! The historic LB2CAT Offshore National Championship is on! 9 am.... be there!

Two helicopters and two film crews for 2014! For the first time in the history of PWCOFFSHORE.COM filming and taking photos from the helicopter at the LB2CAT for the DVD, we have two helicopters for the 2014 LB2CAT and two film crews to capture the excitement on the water! This will enable us to better capture not only the top pack, but also those that might be in the second pack. Great news! More information coming about our DVD sponsors. And, please consider being a sponsor for the DVD..

Craig Warner of Monster Energy Kawasaki will be pursuing his 5th LB2CAT Offshore National Championship title and all time record for Championships, breaking legendary racer Bill Womack’s record of four titles. Craig Warner said “I love this race, the channel is unpredictable and can be ocean flat or present five footers. I’m looking forward to competing and pursuing my fifth title on the best offshore JetSki ever produced, the Kawasaki ULTRA 310X”

Shawn Alladio said: Competition is a personal motivation that involves an investment, it’s a commitment. This is only shared within the race team circle and celebrated by the community and supported by those you select to participate in your pursuit. It is a combination of connections, defaults, examples and aptitude. How much you put into the pre-and post race process will produce relative reciprocal benefits and rewards. What is it? What drives racers and teams? The pursuit of excellence! The pursuit is just that, its riddled with compartments of heartbreak, finance, disappointment and the most important leading element: CHALLENGE. This is an absolute way to find out who you truly are. This is why we select a sport that has three fold risks, you as the driver, your machine and the elements. How is this? You get tested with all the human drams, environment, the pathos, ethos and hubris, you get to decide how you want to refine your ride. At the end of the race, all that comes together as the thoughts I possess, or you possess are sifted with matching traction through throttle modulation and trim, how effective you are, how defective your lack of preparation reveals itself. It’s a solitary and personal advance. One race at a time, you have an invitation to excel. Do you want it? Or does mediocrity seem the easier option? Many opt out. You will never know unless you apply yourself. Those who do get it.”

Thank you current 2014 LB2CAT DVD Sponsors, they are Tom’s Truck Center or Irvine, The KIA Depot of Santa Ana and Carmenita, Ca. Ford Truck Center, PWCOFFSHORE.COM, LB2CATRACE.COM, JETSKIOFFSHORE.COM, Vanis Plumbing, Dana Point JetSki at the harbor at Dana Point, RPM Racing Enterprises and PJ Printers of Anaheim, Ca. We need more DVD sponsors to please step up - a great marketing opportunity for your business and an opportunity to support offshore!

For those not pulling a trailer but needing or wanting to go to the launch ramp - park at the Reef Restaurant or at the Queen Mary and walk over - limited parking at the ramp this year and space is needed for vehicles pulling trailers only

With more than 30 entries and a contingent of women bent on winning this, The Grand Daddy of Them All, The LB2CAT, 2 helo's, a Pirate, and a host of other side stories; PWCoffshore TURBO!, Warner shooting for 5 in a row to pass up PWCoffshore Hall of Famer Billy Womack, an Aussie group that means BUSINESS, this looks to be the 2nd year in a row of an up-tick of interest and participation in West Coast Offshore Racing.
C'mon down, racing or not, and support these folks. Please if not racing park at the Reef restaurant where the awards banquet after the race will be held.
Hope to see you all there!!

We are less than two days away from The 2014 Jettribe Long Beach to Catalina & Back (LB2CAT) Offshore Endurance National Championships presented by Hydro-Turf, Sea-Doo, Hot Products, Bomber Eyewear, Jet Re-Nu, Oakley & Kawasaki & scheduled for Sunday, July 20th at 9:00 a.m.
Here are some important things to be aware of for the race on Sunday, July 20th:
Parking at the South Shores Launch Ramp: There are large concrete pieces on trailers that are taking up approximately 1/3 of the parking lot. The Catalina Ski Race is on Saturday and I've been working with the City of Long Beach to ask the Ski Racers to please remove their boats from the South Shores ramp area after the race. To make sure everything goes smoothly, please plan on getting to South Shores ramp early (5:30- 6:30 am). Please have your crew members/family members/sponsors/friends park at the REEF Restaurant - 880 S. Harbor Scenic Drive, LB 90802 and walk back over to the South Shores ramp (walking path that is parallel to the water) as parking cars without trailers/Ski's will only add to the congestion and may displace an entry for the race. Your compliance with this will help make the event go smooth.
Please come to Registration with all your paperwork, (cash or check if paying on-site, NO Credit Cards will be accepted day of the race) and required safety gear for the race as you will be inspected prior to going in the water.
    Schedule Of Events:
    Sunday, July 20th:
    6:00- 8:00 am - Registration/Safety Tech Inspection - South Shores launch ramp
8:05- 8:30 am - Riders meeting - South Shores launch ramp
8:30- 8:55 am- Rider launch from South Shore ramp to start area
8:59 am - Countdown starts to race
9:00 am - The Jettribe LB2CAT IJSBA Offshore Endurance National Championships
    11:00 am - Race conclusion
    12:30 pm - Luncheon/Awards Ceremony - The Reef Restaurant
Please visit for the racer packet and entry form for the event.
SEA-TOW: Once again, Sea-Tow has offered LB2CAT racers a 15 Month Membership for $149 (rather than a 12 month membership for $169). This can be done during registration on Sunday morning. Please for the Sea-Tow membership form.
The 52 mile round trip endurance race is one of the oldest Offshore PWC endurance races and the hallmark of Offshore Endurance racing in the United States. Racer's from across the country and the world will descend on Long Beach for their chance at winning the prestigious LB2CAT trophy! The Mfg. Stock class prize purse has grown to $1,200 thanks to Mark Gerner & PWCOFFSHORE.COM, Dave "Pirate" Tew, VP So Cal Watercraft Club and racer, Scott McIntosh!
