seadoo gsx 1997 battery
Hi all im needing some help on details of the exact battery that should be in my ski. I have just got the gsx its my first ski so still learning really. The battery thats in it is some cheap ass thing with no ratings or numbers, but fully charged its got 10.3v which im thinking is not going to turn a starter motor, so I need to know what it should be thanks all.

that should be a 787 engine, the stock battery was probably a Yuasa YB16CL. there are batteries listed on ebay with some different numbers and different amps (up to 20) but anything with "yb16" will work. just make sure the positive and negative posts are in the correct place your cables won't reach if they are backwards.

My battery man calls them a 16-CLB... the 16 is amp hours, that's what is important.
