What year and model Virage was it?
What year is the SL700DLX?
What condition is the 700 motor?

The guy I bought the virage from knows nothing about it at all. I collect it on saturday. I'm guessing its a 2001.02.
I know its not an injection and it was a twin.
My sl700 is in perfect condition. its a 97 dlx Everything brand new even the electrics are brand new. Just replaced them all.

Once you have the Virage in hand it will be easier to see what will be needed.
Model year date code is the last two digits of the HIN number plate on the rear deck.
If memory serves, the 2001 Virage has electric reverse while 2002 has a manual reverse lever on left side.
The Virage MFI display is much larger than the MFD used on earlier models.
You can check the Polaris Industries parts cross reference web site to check for various parts compatibility. Links can be found in my signature.

From what I can make out from the crappy pics I got. There is a large reverse handle on the left side. Oval shaped thing and few buttons on the left handlebar. I know I need to either repair or replace fuel tank. I have both sizes of jet pump and I need to find a reverse bucket and a ride plate. Other than those I'm completely in the dark.
Fingers crossed

If its a Virage 700 it had mechanical reverse.
