Region 8 Releases Its Tentative 2014 NEWA Race Schedule

Region 8 Northeast Watercraft Alliance action is heating up! In the cold winter’s slumber of ice covered lakes and waterways, noting much is moving except for feverish paced racers and mechanics in the garages and marina machine shops. The wrenches are turning on repairs, modifications and new boat builds. The air heavy with the smell of lubricants, oil and gas. But most importantly the deafening sound of jovial smack talking between racers about the upcoming season is generating steam for 2014!

The tentative R8 race schedule as posted on the NEWA website follows a similar format to last season with the addition and changes in a few venues. Online pre-registration is through www.newa.us and requires all racers to be valid card holding members of the IJSBA for the series.

Gonna do 2 motos for the CT show on 5/31 "the Beach Brawl"...but No flip flops necessary

There is atleast 10 newly built boats that are going to be on the line in R8! Should be a good season!

I will be at the "Brawl" as a spectator/helper. Are these classes for all of the stops? I want to see some runabouts.
