How hot does the hull get? Temp rating...?
Have a local place that distributes and has a massive selection of hosing that i want to use in the ski, but at what temperature minimum would i need the hose to be rated at?
most of it is 140 degree (most selection)
some is 158 degrees (decent amount of available products)
and some is 220 ( very minimal selection)

Shibby, any hose will work. It doesn't get that hot in there.

Thanks Mark... i'll go with the higher grade material heat range hose just to play it safe.

190 deg. is not near hot enough to melt rubber hose of any temp rating.

Jerry is correct.
You have to understand how the rating is done. The temperature rating for most hoses means very little without the pressure rating. For instance, the hose may be rated to withstand 200psi at 158 degrees. This does not mean the melting point of the hose is 158, it means that it will hold that pressure up to that temperature.
Of course air ducting is a little diferent. The airflow through the hose will keep the temperature down.

I don't see how any hose could melt in that engine compartment unless it laid directly on the engine somewhere. (I have never measued those temps)
just my 2 cents...
