Local dealer wanted me to drop off and leave ski with them over the July 4th weekend....riiiiight!

Wouldn't help even though I said I can show them proof that the (green) sensor is out of spec. I just bought one (blue) for $30, better off than having an overworked mechanic touch my ski.

Technical note: The old (green) sensor is much more sensitive to changes in air temp. Practically instant! The new (blue) sensor takes a little longer to react. This isn't a real world functioning issue...just pointing it out. If anything, the reaction will be more linear.

Sure it is. Just order it, all the green ones have been long superseded so you can't order the wrong one.

    Don't over think this.

Can the sensor be good or bad?
I have test it with a ohm meter and results change with température, does it say it is good ?

It isn't good enough that the sensor will change with the temp....that only means the sensor isn't shorted or open circuit. You need to see what ohm at a specified temp. Look at the picture I posted on post #50.

Unbelievably easy to test, just need a multimeter and reference to the previously posted chart of Temp vs resistance. For what its worth when mine failed it triggered the check engine light and put the engine in limp home mode.
