Step by Step guide How to Bronco a Seadoo Spark
How to do a Bronco
Disclaimer V1.0
Death or serious injures can occur so attempt at your own risk I make no admission to this guide to its suitably or omissions
DON’T attempt if pregnant
DON’T attempt if you have or hard any back neck problems
DON’T any joint problems
DON’T never with a passenger
DON’T go alone take a friend 2nd jetski
DO check depth for landing so you don’t hit bottom
DON’T let go, Always have at lest three points of contact
DON’T Sit down Stand legs bent these are your shock absorbers
DON’T Go out with a jetski you can be 100% safe and reliable
DON’T Go out unless you can get back on in deep water quickly
Step One
First You need to master the high air maneuver.
It is straight on to the wave and you must be able to land it great, 7 times out of ten.
First before you move on.
You need to find a place with a consistent wave brake.
If you sit and watch the wave from a safe distance from the side you should see that the wave brakes about the same spot with in a few meters of the same point.
Now you can judge the timing of the wave brake.
Practice on small waves first about 3ft or 1m and not too much can go wrong.
ALWAYS approach the wave straight on e.g. 90 degrees to the face of the wave.
You need to commit early to the timing e.g. To go or To bail.
If you think you get there the perfect time to launch through top crest of the wave about 2 seconds before it brakes.
If you are too late DON’T turn around on the face of the wave because you roll your ski with you on NOT GOOD at all.
The steeper the waves the higher you will go so waves over 60 degrees are best.
Wave selection is important you will notice that waves will come in sets of 3 or 4 quite often the 2n or 3rd wave is best, as the first moves through it will drop the water level behind it making the next wave higher and peak more.
With waves you find that one part will break while along further it is still forming so always look for a way out escape plan.
Now you have found your wave and timing go for it.
Try throttle at low speeds first making sure that you make it to the top before the wave brakes.
If it does brake just keep going through hold on hard and you will get a wash but it will go through you are about 300kg + so just keep some throttle on to power through.
If you time it correctly you will launch off the top of wave at approx 45 degrees or better now best landings are at 45degress or greater makes for a soft landing.
You need to be aiming for waves that peak well to get good air.
To change your landing angle pull up on handlebars to increase angle you can change it a small amount for a softer landing.
Landings take 70% weight on your legs and 30% on your arms works best.
If you fell that your feet are coming off the deck just pull your heals in to the haul for grip.
Once you master this it’s on to step two.
Step Two
Broncos
Same as all the above with once your nose of ski start to come through the top of wave pull the handlebars full left or right and give it some gas.
Then lean hard into the turn a little forward and left if your turning left will help to bring it around more.

Thats an epic bronco.
Can you give a step by step guide like, where you have your balance at different points (like on setup for the wave), speed, how hard and when to accelerate and what to do with the steering?
Cheers

I will start to right up a guide may take awhile but on my list to do
The sad thing it is not my best Bronco no one around with a camera when it happens.
The other sad thing or a plus only 50% WOT on the spark at jump.
I used to be at 90 to 100% WOT on the old ski so more room to improve for me

Every time I've tried that I've wiped out hard...

Yep I tend to land with too much sideways momentum and high side it. Or whiplash my spine until I resemble a twisted wreck of my former self with an ego more bruised than my arse
