Apparently MFD 3280307 (1999 SLX, 12-pin Deutsch connector) does not respond to the same button press methods as the other MFD models. I do not know if there is a different method of triggering Calibration or Engine Hour reset modes on this MFD model.

MFD 3280307 has curved graphical fuel and oil level indicator bars.
This 12-pin MFD apparently also used on the 1999 and 2000 Pro 785 and 2000 SLX, but not the Pro 1200.

Tachometer input is not required, per the info in post #1.

Were you able to watch the video for resetting engine hour counter?

Yes I did, I was just confused about the next part. So it's only required if I want to reset the distance?

Tach input is not required for anything, IIRC. Just that IF there is tach input, the display acts a little different.

It has been a few years since I did the research, built the MFD testing/calibration rig and posted the videos. Am I forgetting something?

Distance Reset is a normal MFD function, as outlined on this page of the Polaris instructions.
