Riva FREEFLOW exhaust questions!?
Its only 47.00 so i am thinking about trying it...
Is this the same thing as a PowerPipe? If not whats the diff?
How is install?
How much perfromance can i expect?
With either the FreeFlow of the PowerPipe will i need to get my prop re-pitched?
Thanks!

the free flow is just a pipe that bypasses the resonator.
the power pipe replaces the entire hose.
you will get the best performance out of the power pipe, or thru hull exhaust.
How many RPM's you are turning now will depend on whether, or not you have to repitch your prop.

How hard is the thru hull exhaust to install?
and also if i just get the powerpipe can i still use it if i decide to get an intercooler, or would i have to change to the thru hull exhaust?
thanks!

Thru hull isn't hard to install...takes a bit of time though and you need some basic tools including a hole cutter attachment for your drill. If you intend to go with the Riva intercooler someday, the thru hull is mandatory.
Besides it looks and sounds great !

Go with the power filter kit before you get the Vortech. You have to get air to the engine to make it breath.

My home made freeflow sounded rediculous. Especially at around 3300 rpms. Which happens to be a nice no wake zone cruising speed. Unfortunatly for everyone around including my g/f's parents who told me to get away from the boat because they can't hear, it's a lot louder.

On a 4-stroke engine, they often use a 'wasted spark' design, which fires...
