Headwork
I was wondering what everyone with headwork on their ski had done as far as porting, bowl work, polishing, bigger valves, springs, retainers, guides, blending. I had a head for my S-10 done by a local machine shop and they did a pretty nice job and gave me a printed flow sheet afterwards. Set me back about $550 with new guides and the valves lapped. I don't know if the work is straightforward enough for someone who has never done this head before to do a satisfactory job. Also after haveing this work done what else are essential mods to accompany the increased flow?
